Vivek is from Toronto, Canada, and just recently moved to London. After graduating with a B.Sc from the University of Guelph, Vivek completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. Post graduation, he practiced veterinary medicine in eastern Canada for 3 years before moving back to Toronto. After an intense and rewarding few years working in an urgent care clinic in downtown Toronto, he then worked as a Locum at multiple clinics across the city, including end of life and hospice care. He also worked at a primate sanctuary in Canada, and is engaged in international wildlife medicine. He has experience in wildlife conservation regions, including Africa and South Asia; and completed a teaching assignment in Costa Rica at a wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center, which treated a range of exotic and wildlife animals. Vivek is currently completing the RCVS Certificate in Advance Veterinary Practice (Zoological Medicine).
 

Outside of veterinary work, he enjoys spending time travelling, reading, cooking, playing video games, and leading an active lifestyle with his dog Aria.
