Exotics RVNs wanted

Permanent RVN positions available (Full time preferred, but part time considered)

A great opportunity for exotics specialist nursing in South West London independent practice.

We are looking for enthusiastic RVNs (or soon to be qualified) to join our small, caring team. As London's only specialist exotics private practice, we see mainly exotic pets with a range of birds, reptiles, small mammals and fish both first opinion and referral. This makes for a varied and interesting working day! In addition, 25 % of our patients are local cats and dogs with lovely, dedicated owners.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about exotics, but exotics or referral nursing experience is not essential as we will provide training and support with unfamiliar species. This is a hands-on role in a small team and so you will need to be adaptable and flexible, but we are keen to make use of your practical skills in a range of species. As so much of our role is providing husbandry and care advice, a fantastic, upbeat client manner is essential.

East Sheen (close to Richmond) is a lovely area in South West London with great access to central London, but with green open spaces and reduced hustle and bustle. We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly team and a nice place to work (we are proud our team chooses to stay with us!) We are currently expanding to 3 vets, 2 RVNs, Nursing manager, ACA and 2 receptionists.

Full time role

As part of the package, we are happy to fully fund The Advanced Programme in Veterinary Nursing of Zoo and Exotic Species. Our practice caseload plus support from our exotics RVN Milena and exotics vets, including specialist Matthew and cert holder Roxanne, makes this a great place to learn and put this into practice.
